We’ve put together everything you need to know beforehand to make sure you and your pet or service animal have a safe and comfortable flight.

Small Pets (In-Cabin)

You can bring small pets (dogs‚ cats‚ and ferrets) with you into the cabin in a dedicated pet carrier‚ as long as you let us know in advance‚ as detailed on this page.

What you need to know about flying with small pets

  • Carrier size: The maximum carrier dimensions are 55 x 40 x 20 cm. The carrier must be spacious enough to allow your pet to stand up‚ turn around‚ and lie down comfortably.
  • During the flight: During takeoff and landing‚ you must keep the carrier on the floor and not on your lap.
  • Weight limit: Up to 8 kg (including the carrier). If you are traveling with two pets in the same carrier‚ their combined weight‚ including the carrier‚ must not exceed 8 kg.
  • Cost: €80 per carrier (the price remains the same even if there is more than one pet in the carrier).

Must-Have Documents (Prepare in Advance!)

You must receive approval at least 7 days before your flight by sending the Checklist for Pet in Cabin to support@tusairways.com with the following:

  • A copy of the pet’s passport
  • A copy of the most recent rabies vaccination & antibody test
  • A copy of the Echinococcus (tapeworm) treatment record

  • For flights from Europe to Israel: You must notify the Israeli Veterinary Services (vs-airport@moag.gov.il) at least 48 hours before takeoff. Read additional information.
Service‚ rescue‚ and emotional support dogs

If you are traveling with a service‚ rescue‚ or emotional support dog to assist with your special needs‚ your dog can fly with you right inside the cabin.
